How The Loveland Airport Impacts Our Community

Northern Colorado Regional Airport


The Loveland/Fort CollinsAirport is a small airport, located at 4824 Earhart Road, Loveland CO 80538. It's open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.   The Airport impacts our community in a vast array of capacities.  

It is one of the most diverse airports in our state, supporting a mix of almost every facet of air transportation for the region.  There are four main categories of aviation at our Airport. General Aviation, Business, Commercial, and Public Service.

The Loveland/Fort Collins Airport is also a diversion Airport for Frontier, Southwest, and United Airlines when landing at Denver International Airport (DIA) is not possible. 

Many businesses are based on the activities supported by our Airport, which generate specialized employment opportunities that earn greater than average wages.  This level of activity and those jobs contribute significant impacts to the total economic output for our region. 


Fixed Base Operators 

These operators provide Competitive Fuel Prices, Free Wi-Fi, WSI Flight Planning, Transient Hangars, Private Crew Lounge, Crew Cars, Crew Showers, De-icing Type I & IV services and Hot Fuel for Helicopters.


Ground Transportation

Ground transportation is provided by Groome Transporation.  They provide shuttle service to DIA (Denver International Airport) and COS (Colorado Springs Airport)

Aircraft Avionics and Maintenance

 Your repair needs are met onsite when and if you need them.  Mechanics, software updates, warranty work, or a complete engine overhaul can be done with the team of three companies onsite at the Loveland Airport.

Rental Services

Rentals are available through the flying schools. Government agencies rent various aircraft for wildfires, oil and gas implosions, and construction jobs of various types.

Charter and Commercial Helicopter Service

This arena mainly focuses on government contracts such as wildfires and oil and gas implosions. fight natural disasters, emergency air service jobs, and military operations.   They are also equipped for passenger carrying power poles setting, air conditioner sets, photography flights, mining support, and core and conventional drilling.



The Trans Aero LTD Helicopters are capable of flying missions anywhere in the United States or the World.

3 Art Galleries Your Must Visit in Loveland, CO

If art is your passion, then Loveland CO is a spot that you need to visit or live in.  Loveland has been making a name for itself as one of the nation's best small towns for the arts. Loveland CO has got an amazing art culture. The second Friday of each month, in downtown Loveland, the art galleries and other businesses are open from 6pm - 9 pm for your enjoyment. 

Here are three Art Galleries you must visit:

Lincoln Gallery

The Lincoln Gallery is currently featuring the 2019 National Fine Art Show from May 10th  through June 8th.  This is a juried exhibition featuring Fine Art from across America.  They have had many other shows such as the Champagne, Love and Chocolate Show.  They also have "starving artists" shows.  

This gallery is a non-profit cooperative art gallery.  They promote local league members with opportunities to showcase their talents to the community.

They feature great local artists like J.R. Schnelzer and have many community events.

 4th Street Gallery 

Steampunk art
4th Street Gallery is located at 225 E 4th St, Loveland, CO 80537.  They rotate their collection every three months so you will never get tired of the visit.  They have paintings in mediums like watercolor, oils, pastels.  They have featured sculpture artists in bronze, wood, and stone.  

 Regularly, the Gallery features an artist. Some artists perform onsite demonstrations of their talent. 

Another unusual art form that was just featured was by artist, Tracie Wade Jenkins.  She had an exhibit of her Steampunk collection.  

This Gallery is located right in the heart of Loveland.  It's close to restaurants, breweries, and is open on the weekends and some select weekdays.

Independence Gallery

The Independence Gallery features a wide variety of collections from local artists.  The Gallery is quite diverse, inviting and of high quality.  The owner, Billie Colson, has a combination of uncanny realism and whimsical paintings she has done that are a must see.  

 Some of the art they feature are jewelry artists like Marilyn Bohanan, pottery of all kinds, fiber art and photography.  Regularly, they have guest artists like PiperAnne L. Worcester, who is a photographer with a variety of interests from flowers to animals. 

Schissler Academy of Fine Art has set up a studio in the back of the Independence Gallery.  They have a Certificate Program, portrait art classes,  and many other classes.  

This is located at 233 E 4th Street in Loveland, CO.
